Acting instead of reacting
In our daily lives—whether at work or in our personal lives—we face ever-changing demands. We often have to make challenging decisions or support those made by others. Sometimes we maintain relationships that are emotionally taxing. On some days, life feels vibrant yet resembles a rollercoaster ride, leaving us fearing we might be thrown off track. Yet, things could be different. Perhaps we simply aspire to greater calm and serenity in our parenting or caregiving roles. We want to create the inner space to act intentionally rather than merely reacting to the behavior of others—whether children or adults. This two-day training course is designed for individuals in positions of responsibility who wish to sustainably strengthen their inner balance, gain clarity, act with resilience, and remain present with genuine empathy. Through a practical approach, we learn how neurobiological principles influence our stress responses and attention, and how we can purposefully apply these insights.
Training Course Content
Drawing on insights from neuroscience, psychology, and systems theory, we combine content from the Zurich Resource Model and the solution-oriented approach with mindfulness-based elements from Buddhist psychology and philosophy. Participants take home knowledge, tools, and rituals that enable them to lead more effectively and communicate more mindfully in challenging situations.
